About us

In a past life, senior consultant Crawford Currie was a technical manager with Motorola, the global telecoms company. While with Motorola, Crawford grew frustrated with the standard of the groupware and teamworking tools employed, at great expense, by the corporation. So he did something about it, introducing Motorola to the TWiki application server platform. This platform is now in use by over 3,500 engineers in Motorola.

Since he left Motorola Crawford has been involved in a range of groupware consulting projects for companies throughout the world, on behalf of C-Dot.

As well as being a team-tools evangelist, Crawford is also an active and experienced programmer, with over 25 years experience in a wide range of languages and technologies, including C, C++, Java and Perl. He is the author of numerous patches and plugins for TWiki, and is a key contributor to the core platform.

Crawford can often be found in the IRC channels #wiki and #twiki on irc.freenode.net
